Flamingo Land provides a warm welcome to those who enjoy the freedom of outdoor living, with substantial facilities for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes.

This isn’t just a great way to enjoy our fantastic Theme Park & Zoo, it also provides a base for those looking to explore the breathtaking local landscape or engage in some retail therapy amongst the medieval streets of York. Our main camping and caravanning field provides two hundred hard standing bases, all with electric hook up. These facilities are fully supported by 3 modern amenity units, providing shower and toilet facilities, plus a launderette and mini-supermarket. In July and August we extend capacity to welcome up to one hundred and seventy five more tents, simply by opening up our second field. This grassland area has forty electric hook ups and two further amenity units. During high season, guests are asked to pay a one off charge covering Theme Park & Zoo admission for the duration of their stay. This also provides access to a range of exclusive facilities, including The Splash Zone, our fully refurbished leisure complex and The Club, a dedicated entertainment venue. However, our low season special offers are inclusive of Theme Park & Zoo admission, also providing the same package of exclusive benefits. The Splash Zone, a multi-discipline sports complex, combines two pools, a gymnasium, a luxurious sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and spa pool, plus fantastic changing facilities. This is complimented by an outdoor water play area, a perfect way to cool off after a hot summers day! For a great night out, The Club delivers a programme packed with classic comedy, cabaret, live music and dance, including regular appearances by stage and small screen stars old and new. And, if that’s not enough, both fields are adjacent to a 9-hole parkland golf course that’s available free of charge to guests. (Note: You will need to bring your own Golf Clubs) With our Theme Park & Zoo just a few minutes walk away, camping or caravanning at Flamingo Land provides a great way to stay.
